Smith Sovik Kendrick & Sugnet PC is pleased to announce that David A. D’Agostino and Daniel R. Ryan have been elected Partners at the firm.
David D’Agostino holds a J.D. from Syracuse University Law School and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. D’Agostino, is the Director of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department which has grown exponentially under his leadership. He represents some of America’s largest companies and insurance carriers, and has become one of Central New York’s leading workers’ compensation lawyers.
Daniel Ryan holds a J.D. from Albany Law School and a B.A. from Siena College, Mr. Ryan’s practice focuses on the defense of medical and professional malpractice claims as well as motor vehicle accidents, labor law, premises liability, products liability and general negligence claims. Prior to joining Smith Sovik, Mr. Ryan worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department where he defended City employees, including members of the NYPD and the Department of Corrections in civil rights actions, defended the City in civil suits and prosecuted juvenile criminal matters. Before returning to Central New York, Mr. Ryan worked at several large firms in New York City and White Plains.
