Gerard Belfort is an experienced litigation attorney with over nine years of experience in handling all phases of civil litigation in both state and federal court.  Prior to joining Smith Sovik, Gerard worked for large law firms in New York City and specialized in investigations and litigation.  Gerard has previously represented individuals and large corporations in a variety of matters in federal, state, and tribunal courts.  Gerard also previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk for a federal district judge in Chicago, Illinois.

At Smith Sovik, Gerard will focus his practice on all areas of litigation.
