Ron is an Associate in Smith Sovik’s Long Island office.  Ron focuses his practice on defending construction accident, premises liability, motor vehicle, trucking, professional liability, insurance coverage, and products liability cases.  Ron joined the firm after graduating magna cum laude from Delaware Law School where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Widener Law Review and as an Academic Success Fellow.  He was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.  Ron clerked in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office in its Economic Crimes Bureau where he assisted in complex financial fraud cases.  Ron previously worked as a paralegal for an insurance subrogation law firm and for another firm at which he assisted in handling a variety of negligence cases from inception to appeal.
