Matt Germain and Karen Krogman Daum Win Summary Judgment in Defamation Case

Plaintiff brought suit for libel and slander, among other causes of action, due to alleged posts made about her business on Facebook and various other social media sites. Defendant moved to dismiss, arguing there was no proof of defamation and plaintiff’s complaint was frivolous. Judge Gall of Oneida County Supreme Court granted defendant’s motion and dismissed plaintiff’s complaint in its entirety.
