Northern District of New York Dismisses Claims Against Local Attorney Stemming from his Represenation of School District

Anthony Brighton, Esq., and Steven Ward Williams, Esq., recently earned a dismissal of all claims for an attorney sued for discrimination and retaliation in the NDNY. In short, the attorney represented a school district. The school district’s assistant superintendent sued the school district for discrimination and retaliation. The plaintiff sued the district’s attorney, and in so doing, alleged he was a co-conspirator in the acts of discrimination and retaliation. Further, the plaintiff alleged that the attorney was the de facto decision maker for the school district. The district court judge granted our motion in its entirety and dismissed all claims against the attorney.
