Cary Nosowitz joins the firm as Partner. Cary received his J.D. at New York Law School (2002) and received his B.A. from Brooklyn College (1999). Prior to joining Smith Sovik, Cary was the managing partner of a firm in New York City supervising 20 lawyers. He has an outstanding record of success handling mostly motor vehicle accident and complex personal injury cases for the past 12 years. He was born and continues to reside in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.
Artur Pogorzelski joins the firm as an Associate. Artur received his J.D. from St. John’s University (2007) and his B.A. from Hunter College (2004). Artur was born in Poland and came to the United States at the age of 13. Art has many years of experience defending motor vehicle accident and other lawsuits from commencement to verdict. He has been involved in all facets of litigation, including motion practice, court hearings, depositions and trials. Art’s practice focuses on defense of motor vehicle accident, premises liability, construction and labor law claims. He lives in Queens with his wife and two children.
