Smith Sovik Kendrick & Sugnet is pleased to announce the addition of two Attorneys to the Firm. Alexa Cerniglia joins the Long Island office and Nicholas R. Constantino Joins the Syracuse office.
During law school, Alexa served as a Notes and Articles Editor for Fordham Law’s Corporate and Financial Law Journal, and competed in trial advocacy competitions across the country as a member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center. Alexa participated in Fordham criminal defense clinic, where she represented clients from arraignments through motion practice, resulting in the dismissal of charges against her clients.
Nick is a 2019 graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, where he was an Associate Member of the Syracuse Law Review. In addition to being inducted into the Justinian Honor Society, he was a semifinalist in the College of Law’s intra-school alternative dispute resolution competition. While in law school, Nick interned with a local personal injury law firm and Saint Joseph’s Hospital Office of General Counsel before joining Smith Sovik as a summer clerk.
At the firm, Alexa and Nick will work in all areas of litigation including medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, construction site accidents, contract disputes and labor employment matters.
