Gabriela participated in Smith Sovik’s Summer Associate program and re-joined the firm after graduating from Syracuse University College of Law in 2023.  In law school, Gabriela was a member of the Journal of Science and Technology, Cold Case Justice Initiative, Black Law Student Association, and Advocacy Honors Society Mock Trial Team.

During her time in law school, Gabriela worked as a Research Assistant and as a student attorney in the Veterans Legal Clinic.

At Smith Sovik, Gabriela’s practice focuses on all areas of litigation including personal injury, labor law, workers’ compensation claims, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and medical and professional malpractice.
