Since joining Smith Sovik in 1998, Bob’s practice has focused on asbestos defense litigation representing a wide variety of equipment, sealing, insulating, building materials, and refractory manufacturers, as well as contractors and wholesale and retail suppliers.  He represents clients as national coordinating counsel for asbestos litigation.  Bob has broad experience in defending retail and restaurant establishments, construction site litigation, automobile and trucking accidents and premises liability suits.  He also handles most of the firm’s commercial, industrial, and residential property damage litigation representing a variety of different clients and insurance carriers.
