After 75 minutes of deliberation a Steuben County jury returned a defense verdict for Kevin Hulslander and his chiropractor clients in a case in which plaintiff claimed battery and reckless infliction of emotional distress. Plaintiff claimed her treating chiro used sexually explicit language and touched her privates without her consent during a treatment visit. She taped a post incident telephone conversation in which the chiro apologized profusely and repeatedly. In the end, the jury found no battery and no proximate cause on the emotional distress claim.
