Kristin joined Smith Sovik in October 2000 and was elected to partnership in 2008.

Kristin is a trial lawyer and appellate advocate.  She has successfully tried numerous cases in the areas of premises liability, Labor Law and motor vehicle accidents in courts throughout the State of New York.

Kristin focuses her practice on trucking and motor vehicle accidents; premises liability; No-Fault claims; and Workers’ Compensation defense. Kristin spends the majority of her time defending trucking companies like McLane Northeast and individuals in motor vehicle accidents as well as restaurant and retail establishments like Carrols Corporation, Burger King, Tim Hortons and JC Penney.

Kristin has received an AV Preeminent rating from her peers through Martindale-Hubbell and recently received the “Forty Under 40” Award from Oswego County Business Magazine.  Kristin has also been honored with her inclusion in Super Lawyers Magazine Upstate New York Edition every year since 2013.
